How can you NOT interpret the story of Adam and Eve to be an example of conditional love?

What sort of benevolent creator would damn his creation forever by completely ignoring human nature, and the way He Himself created them? What a joke! Can't wait to hear the tired and boring "free will" rubbish, and all the Christians racing to excuse such a blatant act of Sadism!
