With Jerryd Bayless how good is Portland?

I am a huge blazer fan and have been since the old days with drexler, porter, and company! I was just watching the draft and waiting for the 13th pick and when it came I hear Brandon Rush? I say ok umm I thought we needed a PG but I like Rush! Next thing you know Bayless is a Blazer and I am going nuts! But I was even more excited when they drafted Arthur thinking to myself, 2 of the top 15 players in the draft are you kidding me! I was pissed to see they traded him but Batum is a young diamond in the ruff! My question is with Bayless who is just explosive and can score at will, but is young are the Blazers a Playoff team or will I have to wait until next year? Oden finally healed and Fernandez on his way over, they are the deepest team in the NBA but young! That is a double edged sword but please people give me your thoughts I would love to hear them!
