My grandmother (age 91) just suffered a mild stroke last night. It lasted for 2 minutes from what I've been told. She had slurred speech, and control was lost to half of her face. She is now said to be doing alright and has been put on blood thinners. She has always been very healthy and active but over the past few years her memory has declined dramatically. I'm curious what to expect next, if anything. Might this reduce her life expectancy? Any info or stories would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
