Favorite book of all time and why?

Actually, my favorite book was Old Magic. I do not remember who wrote it, but it was about witchcraft and time travel. It was a pretty good book. A lot of description and a little bit of romance, but not that much. It high school drama as well. It was mainly about witchcraft.
