Kaspersky anit-virus database obsolete?

A pop up from kaspersky keeps coming up saying my databases are obsolete and to fix now. When I click on fix now it downloads about 10% then skips to 100% and nothing happens, the obsolete database pop up keeps coming up. I have a 1 year unlocked version and it is current so why is this happening and how do I stop it?
