My blackberry curve- THE KEPYPAD IS NOT WORKING!?

My blackeberrys keypad does not work! the light turns on but only for a few afterwards it goes dark! i cant even move the trackball! and when i can i cant do anything but move it! it doest press anything so i cant do anything! does anyone know how to fix it or whats wrong with it?!
