Very small town, States/Cities??

I am writing a book and am having trouble finding a good, main, location. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good State or city that would be somewhat vampiric. NOT FORKS. I was thinking somehing on the East Coast, maybe Maine or Virginia? I'd like it to be some what of a small town, quiet, that's the kind of town I like personally. Snowy, very snowy, if possible, in winter, somewhat warm in summer....Grey and green atmosphere....if you could let me know that would be great.....!!
