Is it true that Northern Chinese are the palest of All East Asians? A little too pale for my taste?

Beijing is north of both Seoul and Tokyo. This means the Northern Chinese are even further away from the equator than both the Koreans and Japanese. And we all know how pale the Russians are. They are even further away from the equator than the Chinese. I like Chinese people and their culture but we Italians prefer olive and tan skin. I really love Chinese girls but I just wished they were tan.
